A Soapy Disaster

Everyone doesn’t know quite how to use a dishwasher, even though they have been around for a long time. If you were to use the wrong type of soap in your dishwasher, what would happen? Well, dish detergent is definitely not made for use in dishwashers, and if you do, you will pretty soon see why when the soap scum starts coming out of your dishwasher. This is not a good situation, and you want to turn off your dishwasher as soon as possible. It will need to be cleaned out thoroughly before it can be used again. If you have access to a wet vac, this is the perfect time to use it.
As long as there are traces of dish detergent in the washer, it will start foaming again, so repeated rinses with just water and then vacuuming out the water and soap with the wet vac will eventually get your dishwasher to a functional state again, but it will take time.
